We Will Achieve Our Mission by...

Providing the highest quality clinical services and life enhancing opportunities to as many people with severe neurological disability as possible at our own facilities in the London region and elsewhere in the UK, or in partnership with other organisations, in order to:
- assess the full functional potential of people under our care
- provide state-of-the-art multi-disciplinary rehabilitation and adaptive technologies in order to help people achieve their potential
- provide transitional support to help people return to the community, and on-going support to people within the community
- provide long term care for those who require continuing residential support, furnishing not only the highest quality therapeutic support but also a home environment with rich social and recreational possibilities.

Ensuring that others, who are not under our care, both within the UK and internationally, have the opportunity to benefit from our experience by:
- developing standards and protocols for assessment, rehabilitation and care and
  actively disseminating them
- providing education and training to therapists and carers from other institutions.

Seeking to benefit both our own and future generations of people with severe neurological disability by:
- promoting public awareness of the needs of people with severe neurological disability and acting as an advocate on their behalf
- continuously evaluating our processes and outcomes in order to identify improved methods of assessment, rehabilitation and care
- initiating, supporting and participating in research that will lead to therapeutic advances.

In everything we do, we aim to be a model of best practice and to promote a culture of caring, openness and improvement.  Where appropriate we will work in partnership with other leading centres for neurological rehabilitation and care in the UK and internationally, actively seeking to learn from and collaborate with those organisations that share our vision.
