After the event
This three-day course offered a theoretical and practical introduction to casting complex neurological patients. It was primarily focused on the use of soft and scotch cast materials, and provided an overview of casting techniques and clinical reasoning in splinting.
There was a large practical element with all materials being provided to enable learning to be directly applied to practice. Splints covered included elbow, wrist & hand, back slab, knee and ankle.
