Mental Capacity Act Guidance Notes
The following booklets were published in March 2008, after we were commissioned by the Department of Health to develop two sets of guidance notes for the implementation of the act.
1. The Management of People with Complex Neurological Disabilities
2. Research Involving People with Complex Neurological Disabilities
These two sets of notes have been drawn up based upon the experiences of staff at the RHN and are intended to assist and encourage further research into the field. Each booklet acts as a comprehensive guide to all the relevant provisions of the Mental Capacity Act and provides practical measures to take forward best practice and research projects.
The two titles are available for order for £8.50 each (to include P&P) from the Institute of Neuropalliative Rehabilitation on 020 8780 4500 ext 5140 or institute@rhn.org.uk |
