RHN Response to High Court Ruling in the Case of 'M'

28 September 2011
The Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) welcomes today’s High Court ruling in the case of 'M' which recognises the complexity of disorders of consciousness and the clearly defined difference between cases of vegetative and minimally conscious states.

With minimally conscious states, the level of awareness varies between different patients as does the potential for recovery. Using our range of specialist assessments and therapies, the RHN is able to maximise this potential in rehabilitation as well as quality of life in long term care.
