The provision and maintenance of a good standard of oral health is an essential part of maintaining good health for people with neuro-disability. This is achieved by sound preventive practice and the provision of appropriate dental care and treatment.
How we help
For patients and residents needing dental services at the RHN, our specialist dentistry unit will help them maintain a good standard of oral health by:

working closely with ward staff to support their work in routine oral hygiene practice. |

providing all dental treatment that is appropriate for each person. |

carrying out research into improving the oral health of people with neuro-disability. |

working as part of the RHN’s specialist neuro-disability team to ensure a holistic approach to oral health care. |
