Upcoming fundraising events To book tickets for any of the events below or for more information please call020 8780 4565 or email events@rhn.org.uk. 14 April 2010: Alena Tserpitskaya at Steinway Hall The London International Orchestra of Academia (LIOA) presents Alena Tserpitskayain a captivating piano recital at Steinway Hall in aid of the RHN. The performancewill take place from 6pm – 8pm and refreshments will be available on arrival.Tickets are free but seats are limited so book early! 17 July 2010: Musical Picnic Join us this summer for our biggest event of the year! Set in the spectacular grounds of the RHN, Putney, the 2010 Musical Picnic will welcome two renowned musical acts to perform from a four-tier stage overlooking the gardens, for an afternoon of fantastic musical entertainment. Bring or buy your picnic, and enjoy a drink from our marquee bar. There will be children's games for our younger visitors and raffles for all ages; it is set to be a great day out for the whole family. Adults £15, Concessions £10, under 12's free. Whether you are attempting your first half marathon, orusing this event as a training run for the Virgin London Marathon, this race is for you! 25 April 2010: Virgin London Marathon The largest annual fundraising event on the planet – the RHN have more Gold Bond places than ever before. If you would like to be considered for a place in this world famous event contact us now. 31 May 2010: Bupa London 10,000 Get fit and fundraise for the RHN whilst running through central London’s famous world heritage sites, including Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and St Paul’s Cathedral! 14-18 July 2010: London to Paris Cycle Ride Connect two of the world’s most chic cities as you embark on the challenge of a lifetime for the RHN. SUMMER 2010: The RHN Skydiiving Challenge! We are looking for 20 brave recruits to take part in a tandem skydive! You don’t have to have any experience and will be harnessed to a professional parachute instructor; so why not take a leap into the unknown and help us raise £8,000 for the RHN? 14 August 2010: Zambezi Canoe and School Challenge Witness some of Africa’s spectacular scenery and wildlife on this amazing 11 day trip. Spend three days helping with community projects, before heading off to the stunning Victoria Falls. Finally, enjoy three days canoeing down the mighty Zambezi River. 24 September – 3 October 2010: Peru Adventure Challenge Immerse yourself in ancient Peruvian culture, trekking and exploring the remote Lares region of the Peruvian Andes. If you have a love of landscape, a passion for history and a taste for adventure, this is for you! 8-17 October 2010: China Trek Take part in an Oriental adventure for the RHN: trek the Great Wall, visit Beijing and even get the chance to take part in a giant 400ft zip slide!
