Why we need your help We aim to raise over £2 million in donations each year to support the care and treatment of our patients and residents and help pay for important services and facilities that make a real difference to their quality of life. These include:
- music therapy
- aquatic therapy
- our Recreation and Leisure service
- equipment such as hoists and individually designed wheelchairs
- onsite services like dentistry and diagnostic imaging
- our computer room
- a specially adapted transport fleet
We fundraise in a variety of ways and receive income from individuals, trusts and companies. On average, we receive £5 for every £1 we invest, but the return can be as high as £8 which is excellent for a charity our size.
Our fundraising costs include salaries. For further information please consult our Annual Review and Annual Report and Accounts, which can be found on our Publications page.
We believe it is essential for the wellbeing of people with brain injury and neurological illness to have the choice, access and control that most of us take for granted. With your support we can continue to provide the resources that set us apart from other providers of care and rehabilitation for people with neuro-disability.
To those who have supported us, thank you – your donations have made a real difference to the daily lives of our patients and residents.
