Set up a regular gift
A regular gift is the best way to support the RHN as it allows us to plan for the future, secure in the knowledge that we can continue to offer our patients and residents the best quality of life possible. All you have to do is set up a standing order – an agreement between you and your bank to make a regular donation to the RHN.

£5 a month can pay for an ‘Etran Frame’ – a communication aid used by our speech and language therapists to enable patients to communicate with family, friends and staff. Such equipment can be vital in the rehabilitation of a patient.

£10 a month can pay for a specially designed shower chair which allows patients to use the gives patients who are unable to stand unaided more independence.

£15 a month can pay for six music therapy sessions, helping patients to re-learn vital skills like vocal communication, articulation, clarity, breath control and volume awareness.

Payroll Giving
Payroll giving is a simple, tax efficient way of donating to the RHN through your salary. Because your donation is taken before tax is deducted, it costs you less and the Inland Revenue gives us the tax it would otherwise have kept.

First of all you need to fill out our Payroll giving form. When you have completed and returned this form, we will pass your details on to our Payroll Giving Agency who will then talk to your employer about setting up a regular gift. You will not have to make any arrangements yourself.

Some employers have not yet set up a payroll giving scheme, but it is very simple to do and completely free of charge. Just follow the steps at www.cafonline.org/Default.aspx?page=12141&WT.mc_id=76
