Band 7 Occupational Therapist


Band 7 Occupational Therapist

Salary £41,070 – £52,106 per annum
Permanent full-time (37.5 hours a week)

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual with proven clinical skills to join the Occupational Therapy team at the RHN. The post holder will be based on the Continuing Care Unit which delivers highly specialised care and offers disability management to patients with a range of neurological conditions and complex disabilities.

During this one-year fixed-term contract the post holder will work with a multidisciplinary team and have an opportunity to gain excellent knowledge and skills in

  • Complex postural management- including wheelchair prescription
  • Tone assessment and management – including splinting, serial casting, use of Botox.
  • Respiratory management of patients with complex disabilities
  • Long-term tracheostomy management and weaning
