Peripatetic Staff Nurse (Nights)


Salary: Band 6 (£33,412-£44,068)
Contract Type: 6 month fixed term contract
Hours Pattern: Night Shifts

To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high standard of care to the patients and residents of the hospital across the night shift. You will be deployed to any ward, at short notice, based on the operational needs of the hospital and be responsible for the assessment of patients care needs and for the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.

You will be a senior nurse with experience of organising and running a shift and co-ordinating staff and resources in a calm, and effective manner.

You will be responsible for the shift management of a team of nurses in the absence of a sister/charge nurse and work alongside the night site manager to manage any unforeseen estates or facilities issues that occur out of hours.

You will have a ‘can-do’ and proactive approach and understand the need for flexibility within this role and a desire to work across all services in the hospital.
