Meet our team

On this page, you’ll find out what it’s like to work on one of the wards at the RHN.

Here’s Suzie, our head of nursing.

The Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) has three distinct areas:

  • our  brain injury service – rehabilitation and assessment for patients with had a brain injury or neurological condition
  • the specialist nursing home – long-term care for residents who have complex needs because of their brain injury
  • specialist services – wards with a range of specialisms, including a ventilator unit, wards for Huntington’s Disease, and a behavioural unit

Laura is one of our ward managers in the brain injury service. Here, she talks about why she comes to work every day.

Fatima works on Laura’s ward as a staff nurse, and here she talks about how the team works together.

Marjorie is one of the ward administrators in the specialist nursing home. Find out what she thinks about working in the RHN community.

Justin is the ward manager in the Jack Emerson Centre, one of our specialist services.

Could you be a part of the team? Take a look at our vacancies, or if you’d like to take a look around the hospital, drop an email to Suzie and come in for a cup of tea.
