This is a rare opportunity to tour our beautiful grounds and Georgian building.

Guided Tours

Join one of our guided tours on either Saturday 10th or Sunday 12th September and learn about the history of this Georgian villa, which includes our restored Victorian stain glass windows in the Assembly Room, which were shattered in World War 2.

Tour times – (tours will last approximately 30 minutes)

3 – 3.30pm

Archive display

Enjoy our archive display in the De Lancey Lowe room, including patient records dating back to when the hospital first opened in 1853, letters from Florence Nightingale and journals belonging to the hospital’s Chaplain.

Cake, Tea and coffee

There will be cake and hot drinks to purchase for a small fee.

Our site is completely accessible for wheelchair users.
