This exciting full day course will focus on how to measure outcomes and demonstrate clinical impact of music therapy for people with a neuro-disability.
The day will cover outcome measurement in a variety of domains including motor, speech and language, cognitive and psychosocial domains. Guest speakers will discuss how to approach outcome measurement for individuals with complex and severe presentations and will offer practical and accessible solutions.
The course will include practical elements and aims to give music therapists a toolbox of skills to measure outcomes and demonstrate clinical impact of music therapy interventions.
The course is ideal for any music therapist desiring to increase their awareness or skill-level in outcome measurement and is also suitable for music therapy students and newly qualified music therapists. Therapists from other allied health professions, with an interested in music therapy, are also welcome to register.
