The RHN is awarded with the Race Equality Matters bronze Trailblazer Status. Bronze in the first stage in the Trailblazer series, spotlighting organisations that are implementing impactful solutions to drive race equality. This means we have Race Equality Matters (REM) solutions and/or have taken action on race inequality in other ways.

Pathway to Excellence® Designated

We are Pathway to Excellence Designated by the American Nurses Association (ANCC). This recognition is a global mark of excellence in nursing care, awarded to organisations that meet rigorous standards in supporting their nursing staff and display a commitment to high quality care. The RHN is the first independent UK hospital to receive this prestigious designation.

Leaders in Safeguarding Gold Standard

The RHN has been awarded the Leaders in Safeguarding Gold Award for its ‘outstanding safeguarding culture. Leaders in Safeguarding assesses the effectiveness of an organisation’s safety arrangements in ensuring the welfare of children, and in our case, vulnerable adults. Completion of the audit requires multiple standards to be met, including effective safeguarding policies, procedures and systems, safer recruitment practices and highly effective supervision and support.
