Nurses

Become a specialist nurse with sought after skills as a Band 5 and 6 nurse in our three areas of specialism

  • Brain Injury Service
  • Specialist Services
  • Specialist Nursing Home

We welcome applications from all nursing disciplines as you will get all the support you need to gain highly clinical and non-clinical skills.

Doctors

We recruit staff grade doctors (SAS grade/speciality doctors), consultants in rehabilitation medicine and GPs, on permanent, part-time and bank basis.

Allied Health Professionals (AHPs), therapists and other clinicians

We regularly recruit into a number of qualified and non-qualified roles in the following disciplines;

  • physiotherapy
  • occupational therapy
  • speech and language therapy
  • music therapy
  • social work
  • psychology
  • dietetics


The RHN operates three services.

Brain Injury Service

Our Brain Injury Service admits and assesses patients with an acquired brain injury who will undergo disability management and potential active rehabilitation.

If you are an enthusiastic registered nurse interested in brain injury rehabilitation, this is the place to be.

You will acquire skills in respiratory management, continence and tissue viability, whilst having access to expert knowledge from an interdisciplinary team of Allied Health Professionals (AHPs).

Specialist Services

Nurses working in the Specialist Services unit have the chance to care for patients with complex neurological disabilities including Huntington’s disease and locked-in syndrome.

You’ll be part of a motivated team in a supportive learning environment offering comprehensive training in Ventilator care, tracheostomy care and de-escalation techniques. You will also have the opportunity to work with innovative technologies such as eye gaze; an eye operated communication system helping patients to interact with the world.

Specialist Nursing Home

The Specialist Nursing Home is for patients with complex neurological disabilities. Our nurses develop long term supportive relationships with each patient, their family and friends.

We are looking for enthusiastic, positive nursing staff who will learn sought after clinical skills. We will train and support you in complex postural management, tracheotomy, tracheostomy management (changing and replacement), as well as gastronomy and jejunostomy.
