Long-term care

The long-term nursing home is a place where exceptional clinical care and recreational activities sit side by side and where people can experience greater quality of life every single day.

Long-term nursing care and interim care for adults with profound disabilities are all parts of this service.

Our long-term care is provided for patients and residents with

• progressive neurological conditions such as Huntington’s disease and multiple sclerosis
• an acquired brain injury who need round the clock care, including those in vegetative or semi-conscious states

Enhancing the quality of life for each person we care for means making their time special. We can do this because we get to know them with involvement from their families and friends, identifying the things that lift their spirits, hold their interest, and help them relax.

We incorporate these into their everyday care and leisure time. We adapt activities to their specific condition and bring the experience to them if they are unable to leave their bed. It’s little things like this that can make a world of difference.
