Mayor of Wandsworth, Cllr Jeremy Ambache, Attends Founders Day Celebrations.
Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Mayor of Wandsworth, Cllr Jeremy Ambache, to our Founders Day celebrations.
During his visit, the Mayor met with members of our Executive Leadership Team, Trustees, staff, and patients, taking time to learn more about the work we do and the community we serve.
In his speech, Cllr Ambache praised the dedication of our staff and the vital role the RHN plays in the borough, recognising our long-standing history and continued commitment to outstanding care.
“I’ve had the privilege of seeing first-hand the dedication of the staff — from the nurses to the allied health professionals, therapists, and everyone who works behind the scenes. Patients and residents — and their families — can feel confident that their loved ones are in the most capable and caring hands.
“The level of expertise here, especially in areas such as neuro-behavioural rehabilitation, is outstanding. The hospital’s approach is not only clinically excellent but also deeply human. It understands that healing is about more than medicine — it’s about dignity, creativity, and connection. As Mayor, I am proud that such a unique and compassionate institution calls Wandsworth home. The Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability embodies the best of what we stand for: community, care, and innovation”.
