Paul Allen Appointed Chief Executive

Paul Allen has been appointed to the role of chief executive, taking over from Angus Somerville who left in March of this year.

Paul joins the RHN following his last interim CEO role at Soil Association Certification Ltd and brings a wealth of experience from the public, private and third sectors. This includes significant experience in health and social care gained at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust and as CEO of The Abbeyfield Society, a charity which provides personal care and supported housing for older people.

Paul said, “It is such a privilege to be leading this organisation with its rich history of innovation in such a complex area of healthcare. I’m really looking forward to working with the wider team here to continue our drive towards enhancing patient-centred care, improving the experience for everyone at the RHN.”
