    Geoff Coyne

I am the chaplain to the whole hospital community – residents, patients, relatives and staff. Whatever an individual’s religious beliefs (or no beliefs) I am there to offer pastoral care, to be a listening ear and to be a shoulder to cry on. I could be described as “the friend to all, providing guidance in pastoral and community matters.”

I have a specific role for those within the community who have a distinctively Christian faith. It is my role to strengthen that faith and nurture the hope that comes with that faith. And so I lead the “church” in the hospital. I also make sure that those within the community who have a distinctive faith, other than the Christian faith, will get appropriate ministry and spiritual care. Geoff Coyne
